Each vest will be carefully handcrafted in our own workshop, in a very limited edition. Fewer than 50 pieces will be available, and each will bear a unique number.

The History of Madras Fabric
You know our passion for fabric assembly: patchwork. We love playing with patterns, combining textures, and creating a textile mosaic. This vest perfectly illustrates this quest for balance and harmony. Each piece is a unique creation, where the bright, vivid colors of this Madras fabric echo each other with boldness and subtlety.
Madras originated in the 17th century in India, in the region from which it is named. Originally, it was woven from banana tree threads dyed with plant pigments. These fragile threads were gradually replaced by cotton, giving rise to the madras we know today.
Introduced to the Antilles during the abolition of slavery, the madras quickly became a symbol of Creole culture, embodying history, tradition and creativity.
