THE Rowing BLAZER

mobile

La Veste Rowing

Origin

The first rowing jackets were worn by associates of a rowing club in 19th century England. In order to stay chic between two races, they allowed athletes to stay warm, which is why they were made in thick fabrics in the colors of each club with the particularity of being trimmed with a braid all along neck and throat.

It was then that in universities, students hijacked it by using it daily to go out, becoming iconic in the preppy look.

We have revisited this classic by adding the touch (L’EGOISTE).

QualitY

To find the authentic jersey knit we turned to the French brand Sport d'Époque. Their goal is to rework the thick, solid fabrics and textures used for sportswear of the time.

We therefore offer you this blazer in co-branding: a jacket (L’EGOÏSTE) in a thick 100% cotton navy jersey made in France, by Sport d’Époque.
