This cut of jacket was used by carpenters before becoming the emblematic jacket of craftsmen and industrialists. Above all, it was practical, robust and simple, which made it ideal for all manual and industrial work. Its various pockets are very useful for storing various personal items, tools or wallet.
A few years ago, with the massive arrival of sportswear and the fall of the classic blazer, we realized that this work jacket was going to find its place in our collections. After a long search and hunt for a real authentic and vintage worker jacket over 50 years old, we analyzed it, disassembled it and rebuilt it on the fall and made it into a blazer. The result being to keep its practical side while giving it a chic side. Bet won, it is one of our best seller today.
To revisit this classic, in our own way, we have kept: its large patch pockets to which we have added our famous ticket/glasses pocket which is our signature and its inside wallet pocket with its characteristic seam, as well as its special sleeve openings which allowed you to continue working while rolling up the sleeves, its original collar and its buttonhole. Here it is in 100% cotton canvas fabric made in Italy.
The particularity of the dye of this worker is that it does not fix the color too much and thus, to wash out over time, giving reliefs and colors that are not found anywhere else. The structure and the relief of this 100% cotton fabric, with the wash, will give another dimension to this jacket.
After many trials and choosing the right stone wash, all you have to do is wash and rewash the jacket to give it your own personality, the same way you wash your jeans. Thus the structure and the relief of this 100% cotton fabric and its washing, will give another dimension to this worker jacket.
