HISTORY

The military field plays a very special role in fashion and has always done so. Many current clothes were inspired by military pieces of the time. This is the case with this jacket.

It was inspired by a French army jacket worn during the Indochina War.

It is part of what we call field jackets, these pieces which were designed and worn by soldiers in the field and in extreme climatic conditions.

We made 3 others, taking inspiration from the original models and modernizing them; the Hanoi, the West Summer and the Baldwin.

QUALITY

The West Shirt was made from thick cotton with a herringbone weave, just like the period jacket.

Its cut is fitted, between the fit of a blazer and an overshirt.

It has a large collar, black corozo buttons, tightening tabs on the sleeves and four blown flap pockets (two on the chest, two on the stomach); very practical for storing your wallet, your phone, your keys...

It is very pleasant and comfortable to wear.

We have it available in khaki and beige.

STYLE

It can also go well with a classic or more offbeat style.

Here, Jules wears it with a tie, with a shirt and a vest, but you can just as easily combine it with a t-shirt or a simple shirt.
