The fabric with the Prince of Wales pattern is made up of several interwoven squares of different colors.
Originally, it was an English countess, who lived in Scotland, who created it for her servants (who were not allowed to wear Scottish tartan).
It was only afterwards, in 1934, that the Prince of Wales, the future Edward VIII, democratized it.
It is a motif that conveys elegance and sobriety.
