HISTORY

This vest is the variation of our iconic Marius model, it is in raw red-selvedge denim and has a shawl collar.

The particularity of this collar is that it is rounded and continuous, without a neckline. It is a collar that appeared on the Victorian tuxedo jacket. It was a garment usually made of silk or velvet. When going to smoke, men would put on these jackets with rounded collars instead of putting on their coats to avoid leaving the smell of cigarettes on their evening attire.

QUALITY

Its raw denim fabric is 100% cotton and stretch, meaning it has a little elastane which will provide greater comfort and ease.

The upper edge of the pockets was created using white and red selvedge edging. Also, we used copper buttons, as a nod to those also used for denim pants.

Its shawl collar brings a sophisticated, original and almost mysterious style because it is less formal and common than the lapel collar. However, it remains versatile and easy to wear. It's very trendy at the moment.

The vest has three patch pockets and two interior pockets. Also, the back was made using a blue striped cotton fabric.

STYLE

It's a casual and elegant cardigan at the same time.

It goes perfectly with light, ecru or white jeans like here, with the Icone pants.
