The patchwork is an assembly of pieces of different fabrics which sewn together, form a single and same canvas. It is a long meticulous and artistic work because it is important to associate fabrics with colors and patterns, which will form a certain balance between them.
We make these quilts by hand and in a traditional way, in our workshop in Lisbon.

One side is made of two fabrics, one in seersucker (embossed effect) and the other in printed cotton. The second reversible side is an ecru red-selvedge canvas.
Its cut is quite straight, almost "oversize" for a more relaxed look.
