The Iconic Field Jacket

- Categories : All

The West Summer finally reissued !

The M65 jacket is essential, it was worn by the American army during the Vietnam War and it continues to accompany soldiers in more recent conflicts.

Initially, it was made of cotton and then nylon, in a camouflage pattern. Thus, it was waterproof and resisted the wind.

It will be worn by the general public and will become very fashionable in the 80s when many journalists appropriate it. It's a basic that has style and has retained its practical side.

The Field Jacket our way

For our version, which we have called "west summer", we have decided to keep it in cotton for its lightness and comfort as it was originally, but with a deep wash to remind it of its adventurous look.

It still has 4 bellows flap pockets, with a drawstring at the waist, shoulder pads and a large collar. All the characteristics of the historic M65 are respected ! The difference is that we have reworked its cut with great care, using the exceptional fit of our blazers to make it more modern.

It will thus be able to be worn with a sober and elegant look as well as with a more relaxed and casual style.

We have declined it in 3 colors; cream, khaki and navy.

The M65 jacket will also be democratized thanks to the 7th art, as with Robert de Niro in Taxi Driver or Stallone in Rambo. More recently, it was our West Summer who dressed the very famous Christian Clavier in the comedy "Rendez-vous chez les Malawas".

An iconic model for a timeless style
