The elegance of a shirt, the comfort of a t-shirt

We have already told you the story of the creation of the polo shirt by the famous tennis player Jean-René Lacoste in 1926. He designed this garment for greater practicality in the exercise of his sporting discipline. But there is a second version about the origin of this piece...

In the 19th century, the English began playing polo; this sport practiced in India by the elites. For this, they wear long-sleeved shirts on which they decide to button the points of the collar to prevent them from lifting and disturbing them when they are galloping on their horses. This is where the idea of reinventing the shirt to make it more functional and casual was born.

The polo shirt that we are presenting to you today was made in a mesh between waffle and honeycomb, 100% organic cotton. It is a fabric that we took the time to develop with our partners and fabric manufacturers. We wanted it to be both compact so that its drape was impeccable, but also light and flexible for the summer seasons.

Our Best Seller

We have it available in sky blue, ecru and navy. They are made and dyed by hand in Europe. We added our "red-selvedge" type braid to the inside collar and on the slits for an impeccable finish.

The polo shirt is the perfect compromise: it's more chic than a t-shirt and less dressy than a shirt. Thus, it is easy to wear and adapts to all situations.
