The OG 107 Jacket

We continue our series on the iconic military jackets...

The OG 107 model was adopted between 1952 and 1989. It was notably worn during the Vietnam War. There have been 3 versions of this jacket, the one we are talking about today is the latest and best known, type III, launched in 1964.

His name corresponds to the color code of his canvas; Olive Green 107. This shade was selected by the US Army. The jacket was worn both tucked into the pants and outside, depending on the orders given and the weather.

It is one of the most common military jackets in vintage fashion.

It was made famous in particular by the singer of the Beatles, John Lennon, who often sported this piece which was given to him by a soldier.

It was during a trip to Los Angeles that our designer unearthed an authentic OG 107 jacket, in military surplus. It belonged to a soldier named Baldwin. We have thus published this mythical overshirt under the same name, in reference to this former soldier.

We've taken every feature of this iconic piece by reworking the cut to make it more contemporary. Its fabric was robust and thick to meet military specifications. We got as close as possible thanks to our Italian cotton supplier.

Our jacket has been dyed and washed after its construction according to a specific process which accentuates its relief and gives a faded and vintage look to the seams. It has 2 chest pockets with pointed flaps, above which we have added two badges referring to our land of inspiration and creation: Biarritz.
