The Shetland Jacket with Houndstooth pattern

It's Finally Back!

It's a jacket that you loved last year in its houndstooth fabric. And as proof, it was a real success and did not remain available for long on our shelves, nor on our online store. This year, we have available it in two other colors, redand beige. We presented them to you a few weeks ago... But we also wanted to reissue it in its original fabric, the one that made it famous; the houndstooth pattern.

Its Shetland wool fabric is of exceptional quality.

The colors that make it up are beige, burgundy, green and blue; easy to combine, these are shades that go with everything.

The interior lining is in navy blue termolight quilted nylon. It is a warm, comfortable and timeless garment.

The timeless Houndstooth

The pattern of this jacket is therefore houndstooth. Of Scottish origin, it was created in 1880

Traditionally black and white, it was used for making warm clothing. It was worn by shepherds and its colors were neutral, far from the clan battles of the time.

It was in 1934 that the Prince of Wales wore a houndstooth suit and thus popularized this pattern among English high society. In the 1950s, it became the true emblem of the Christian Dior fashion house and was used for many of its creations.

Rémy chose our Wood jacket and is wearing it in the streets of New York. He paired it with an Albert vest and pants, also in wool, as well as a tie shirt. It's an original look, as contemporary as it is timeless.

Between the elegance of a garment and the authenticity of its fabric...
