We met Olivier at Café La Perle

- Categories : All

Let us tell you his story...

This man is Olivier. For 20 years, he has been running the essential Parisian bistro; La Perle, in the Marais district. He found himself behind the counter of this bar quite by chance and never left it again.

However, when he was younger, Olivier dreamed big. He wanted to work in cinema. Destiny decided otherwise and gave him a completely different role, that of playing his real life.

But on closer inspection, what happens in this café is worthy of a movie set. La Perle is a neighborhood bistro but also a show business where all of Paris meets and rubs shoulders. There we find a counter philosophy, playful laughter, deeper reflections, a gentle seduction... This is perhaps why Olivier never wanted to change roles because by taking on that of chef orchestra in this famous café, it was placed at the heart of the show.

This place has multiple facets, and welcomes several faces, like a movie set. Between morning coffee, lunch or even evening service, different scenes are played out, several actors who follow one another throughout the day. And in the evening, it's another show, it's almost another world, even more trendy. But here, no special effects, Olivier and his team are natural and authentic and this is felt in their service. This is the very essence of this atypical place.

The daily life of this café is made up of scenes of life. They are natural, spontaneous, sometimes surprising but indeed real.

Focus on the Main Role

Originally from Ardèche, Olivier is a passionate and exciting man. He loves his job and he loves his big family even more. Father of four children, we congratulate him on the arrival of his youngest.

He is a charismatic man who lives at a hundred miles an hour. When he needs to escape, he does so through his hobbies which are Comix, comics or fashion. What we like about him is his unfailing good humor! He makes the people around him laugh and smile, including his customers, and this is undoubtedly what brings them back again and again to La Perle café.

If one day you are in the area, don't hesitate to go meet Olivier, discover this enigmatic place and taste one of their refined dishes.

Like an aside

Just like french chef Philippe Etchebest, who recently appeared on RTL Bonsoir wearing our Marius Brown vest, Olivier also chose to wear this suede piece. It is a fabric that has the spirit, elegance and ease of suede without its drawbacks.

It is important for us to specify that we have no partnership with these two personalities who revolve around cooking, however they loved the style and comfort of our collections and are among our most loyal customers.
