Fall and winter fabrics
We often talk to you about the history of clothes, fabrics, weavings but we had not yet approached the subject of fabrics according to the seasons.
Although summer has been generous this year, autumn has indeed come to the fore and its colors now.
It's a season that we love especially for its cozy clothes.
But what are the ideal materials for these winter seasons ?
WOOL
It's a fabric that needs no introduction, it is noble and timeless.
Very insulating, it keeps the heat in.
Present in a large part of our winter collection, its weavings are multiple and give it a diversity of textures and patterns.
COTTON VELVET
It's retro and very original.
Smooth or ribbed, we appreciate it for its touch, very soft and pleasant.
Its tight and dense fibers prevent the cold from passing through and maintain the interior heat.
As proof, 50 years ago, mountaineers' pants were made of velvet.
