HISTORY

The polo occupies a special place in men's summer wardrobe, it is a curious mix between the t-shirt and the shirt, but it always imposes a sportswear dress code but at the same time elegant and comfortable.

It was born in the 1920s, thanks to tennis player René Lacoste in the form we know today.

To make this polo shirt lighter, he made it in pique cotton, which also allows it to be more solid than a traditional shirt. This is the weave most used in the making of polo shirts, like our iconic Lezard polo shirt, inspired and reinvented on the basis of this history.

QualitY

There are other knits than pique, like that of this Cricket polo shirt. We chose a mesh between embossed and honeycomb, it is specific to us, and it is the result of internal development after nearly 5 years of research. We wanted it to be heavy and compact so that it would hold but at the same time light and breathable, so as not to feel it on the skin. This way the polo shirt will have a much more elegant “hang”.

This polo shirt is 100% cotton. Dressier, more breathable but also more flexible and softer than pique cotton models. Its organic cotton knit is better for the environment and ensures incomparable comfort.

It is made and dyed by hand in Europe in an artisanal way.

It is an essential and fundamental model of the brand's cool chic style.

Style

The polo shirt is often more chic than a t-shirt and less dressy than a shirt. A happy medium that can be worn in all circumstances, and it can blend into almost any outfit without being shocking.

Now, we are more in the trend of minimalism and men prefer it without any logo, which is why we have only identified it by our "Red selvedge" style braid, hidden in the neck.

Due to its structure and cut, you can wear it with shorts to go to the beach, but also under a cardigan or even with a suit.
